I was a single parent too for a long time and mostly focused on my children and reconnecting more with a network of friends after the break up… which meant I mostly wasn’t up for hook ups or a relationship until recently. So… I empathise!

I’m compelled to comment because I can’t see the dilemma on whether you should buy a toy or not?

Absolutely you should! I think you’ll love it.

Regular play with your toy is a great idea. No it isn’t going to totally ‘replace’ a penis in your life. And when you do connect with a boyfriend, you might be surprised to discover he could actually be into you bringing your new toy into play during sex.

Think of it as an enhancer

You’ll find loads of ways to enjoy it. Some times it’ll be sexual fitness equipment (hmmm, that reads bizarrely but you know what I mean), other times a pleasant distraction for a handful of minutes, others it’ll be like kicking back with a great movie, glass of wine and… you get the picture.

In my experience, exploring different kinds of stimulation by yourself and then with a partner will have a very positive influence on your sex life:)
